Welcome to MSTA. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and services, operated by International Skincare Education (UK) Limited, trading as MSTA.
“The Company” means International Skincare Education (UK) Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 16807453, with its registered office at Yorkshire House, Ground Floor, 18 Chapel Street, Liverpool, Merseyside, L3 9AG.
“Course” means our training programmes and educational offerings, delivered online, in person or in blended formats. “Service” means our website and related applications. “Student”, “you” or “your” means the individual or entity accessing the Service.
Users must be at least 13 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these terms. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account details confidential. Misuse, intellectual property infringement and fraudulent behaviour are prohibited. We are committed to making our website accessible to people with disabilities.
Students must meet the prerequisites specified for their chosen course and must be professionally registered throughout their studies, adhering to the rules set by their own regulatory body.
All students must abide by the MSTA Code of Conduct, which is provided within the MSTA Student Handbook upon booking. Our qualification pathways are constructed to follow relevant industry guidance and recommendations. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations of their own jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to decline an application should a student fail their professional registration or qualification check.
International applicants are required to provide:
Right of access to a training course is given to the person whose details were entered at the time of booking. The minimum age to attend practical training is 18, and students must be fluent in English to attend a practical placement or assessment. Professional registration must be maintained throughout your studies; failure to declare any restrictions will result in non-refundable termination.
Where a student is responsible for sourcing a suitable model or patient, suitability guidelines will be provided by MSTA at the time of order confirmation. If a student arrives 15 or more minutes late, or misses crucial parts of the day’s learning, we reserve the right to refuse entry. MSTA and associated third parties reserve the right to refuse or remove a trainee from a workshop at any point without notice.
When you register, your right of access is personal to you and granted only for the duration of your course. Personal accounts may not be shared. MSTA Online Learning is intended as a means to start or continue professional development, and we specifically do not certificate competence to practise based solely on e-learning material.
Because of the nature of our products, it is not our policy to refund e-learning courses once access has been made via the unique access codes. MSTA courses expire one year after purchase unless otherwise agreed, after which access to materials is lost.
Course fees vary by programme. A deposit of £500 is required at the time of booking to secure your place. Upon receipt of your deposit, MSTA purchases course materials, training kits and personalised items on your behalf. Because these items are procured specifically for you and cannot be reused or resold, this deposit is a reasonable pre-estimate of costs incurred and is non-refundable.
The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than six weeks before the start date of your in-person training. Payments under our instalment plans must be made in full on the due date. Monies outstanding by the due date may incur a late payment fee of £25 per calendar month, and you remain responsible for any outstanding balances.
You have the right to cancel within 14 days without giving a reason by emailing info@mstauk.com. If you cancel within this period, we will reimburse all payments received without undue delay and no later than 30 days, subject to the non-refundable deposit and any professional body registration fees already paid on your behalf.
Where a booking is made within 28 days of the course start date, you will be asked to provide express consent for services to begin immediately, and you acknowledge that on cancellation you will be liable for costs proportionate to the services already provided. Unless stated otherwise, the deadline to receive a full refund is 14 calendar days after the date of the signed agreement or the first day of training, whichever is soonest. Cancellations and refunds after this deadline are at the discretion of MSTA and assessed case by case.
If rescheduling of practical training is requested with at least 14 calendar days’ notice, no additional fee applies; with less than 14 days’ notice, no refund is given. Examinations and written papers are non-refundable after booking. Should MSTA cancel or postpone an event, you may transfer your registration to a new date with availability or receive a credit towards a future booking.
The trademarks and logos displayed on our learning materials are the trademarks of MSTA or its partners, and any use without our express written consent is strictly prohibited. Copyright and other intellectual property rights exist in all text relating to our services and the full content of this website.
You agree not to adapt, alter or create any derivative work from our material, or to use it for any purpose other than your personal, non-commercial use. None of the content may be copied into or saved in any other website, retrieval system or publication. You may not link to any page of this website without our prior written consent.
The website and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. The Company is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the website or services. You agree to indemnify the Company against any claims resulting from your use of the website or services.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to services for any violation of these terms. We can terminate your account if you materially breach these terms and fail to remedy the breach within 30 days. Upon termination you will lose access to your account and any enrolled courses, and we will not be liable for any resulting loss of data or access.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your home country apply. By using our services you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We encourage parties to resolve disputes through amicable means, including mediation or arbitration, before resorting to litigation.
We are committed to giving our clients the highest possible standards of care and service. If you are unhappy with the service you have received, please contact us at info@mstauk.com so we can resolve the matter as quickly and efficiently as possible.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Users will be notified of changes through the website or by email, and continued use of the website after any changes indicates acceptance of the new terms.
