Georgia's story is the one we point to when someone asks where an MSTA training can actually lead. Not just to a clinic of your own, but all the way back to the front of the classroom.

From the NHS to her own name on the door

As a registered midwife, Georgia already had the clinical foundations most students spend their first weeks building: anatomy, physiology, patient care under pressure. What she didn't have was time. Hospital hours are long, and with a young daughter at home, she knew something had to change.

Like a lot of our best graduates, she didn't leap straight away. Georgia first enquired with MSTA years before she trained, and sat on the decision for a long time. When she finally committed, she committed completely, treating the course not as an experiment but as the start of the story of her life.

Building Afterglow Skin Clinic

After training, Georgia opened Afterglow Skin Clinic and specialised in the area where her clinical instincts gave her the sharpest edge: acne. In the years since, she has become one of Greater Manchester's most sought-after skincare professionals, and now mentors other skin professionals building their own practices.

The full-circle moment: becoming an MSTA educator

Georgia's results, her clinical background and the way she carried her knowledge did not go unnoticed. She was doing so well that MSTA offered her the opportunity to join the teaching team, and she accepted. The midwife who once sat nervously on an enquiry form now trains the next generation of MSTA students.
