Why polynucleotides, why now
Polynucleotides are purified DNA fragments, usually salmon-derived, injected to stimulate the skin’s own repair: hydration, elasticity, overall skin quality. Not filler, not volume, no “done” look. Regeneration. Which happens to be exactly what the market decided it wanted.
The demand did not arrive quietly. As we covered in Skincare & Starbucks, the #pdrn hashtag has sailed past 80 million views, a PDRN product has topped the US TikTok Shop skincare charts, and “salmon DNA” is now something clients say out loud, unprompted, in consultations. They arrive pre-educated and pre-sold. The question is only who they book with.
And the commercial reality: UK clinics typically advertise polynucleotide sessions at £300 to £500 or more per session, with surgeon-led London clinics from £595, and results-led courses of three commonly £900 to £1,600. Treatments are sold in courses because that is how the results work, which is why a handful of clients covers your training investment.
Why this course exists
We have sat in polynucleotides courses tailored for medics, and watched the same thing happen every time: the injectables side, the part that actually matters, gets brushed over as if it’s nothing. For a nurse who draws up medicines every working day, maybe it is. For a skincare professional, it is not nothing. It is the whole thing.

Two full days at our Chapel Street academy in Liverpool. Day one builds the foundations: the science of polynucleotides in plain language, client selection, consultation, contraindications and managing expectations. Day two is where it becomes real: supervised hands-on practice with proper time to absorb, repeat and ask questions, plus protocols, aftercare and how to introduce the treatment to your menu. You leave CPD-certified.
